Founder, the late Sandy Rump, a veteran of the hair care profession for over 30 years, opened Sableúx Salon & Spa in March 1998 to offer premier quality and service for the Northern Kentucky area. She wanted a place for people to relax and relieve their stresses.

Sableúx has been recognized by The Northern Kentucky Sunday Challenger as 2005's Best Place To Be Pampered.

In October 2005, Sableúx hosted Nick Arrojo, hair guru of TLC's What Not To Wear, and his team as they prepared their models for the Wella Trend's Vision 2005 event at the Millennium Hotel in Downtown Cincinnati.
